1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
1. God has been very good to me! I truly thank God for my many gifts, talents, and abilities! All that I am and I ever hope to be, I give it all to thee! I vow to use my life to be a blessing to others!
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
2. I am extremely grateful for my parents and my mentors for believing in me and pushing me to strive for excellence in all that I do. Their nurturing, influence, training, encouragement and support have made me who I am today. I am so blessed to have them in my life and I do not take them for granted!
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
3. I love using my gifts and talents in the performing arts to teach little girls to have self-confidence, exercise self-expression and explore their creativity. It brings me such joy as I watch my young mentees blossom and grow. I adore them and their success means the world to me!
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
4. I absolutely love the performing arts! Dancing and acting are truly my most favorite things to do! I have been dancing and acting since I was a small child. Growing up in my performing arts studio has allowed me to build relationships with beautiful young ladies that I call my sisters. They are that positive support system that every girl needs to unapologetically walk in their greatness.
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
5. On of my dearest friends drowned last summer during 4th of July weekend at her family reunion. This tragedy was totally devastating. She was an outstanding role model and example for her studio sisters. Her life and legacy of excellence is my inspiration. She has inspired me to have self-determination that does not allow me to give up! I am the 1st recipient of a scholarship in her name and honor…Talaya D. Jones, this is for you!
